Note: this requires an adjusted schedule from os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse#26988

@Martchus can you help to find the right settings so that we don't need to specify literal custom code+vars variables, e.g. just the cert+resolution setting?

I will try with the settings from https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/198365?#note-10

I managed to get rid of UEFI_PFLASH_CODE and replace it with an explicit UEFI_PFLASH_RESOLUTION, see https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-scripts/compare/f98957d4955aa46db9a490a9c768c985ea3be7a1..52c22ff4597059e6d5a152fdee2d2ba4fe6d1f4b which results in a passing test: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/6268126. However, UEFI_PFLASH_VARS seems to be necessary to get the test running (see https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/6268067 for a test with only UEFI_PFLASH_RESOLUTION).

It would perhaps be cleaner to add the UEFI-related settings here in the machine definition (especially because the machine will now also be called uefi).

Or actually this still needs #763

I had another look, so this is probably fine, see #761 (comment).

Probably you also don't need the resolution.

Re-requesting review since I moved around almost everything. VRs with the most recent changes are:

The last 64bit snapshot or Tumbleweed is from August 2025. This change
switches the test to uefi and therefore allows it to use a more recent
snapshot.
